A pullout while entering the town of Trinity that sits on Trinity Bay on the way up to Bonavista offered this view of a portion of the town with a gazillion Lupins in bloom in the foreground...Tracing its history back to the 1500s and 1600s when it was initially a temporary and then permanently settled fishing station...it eventually became a major trading center on the northeast coast of Newfoundland. Today its a beautiful tourist destination and well worth a visit.
